2005 Black Lake Sturgeon Shivaree
February 5th - 6th, 2005
The 2005 Black Lake Sturgeon Shivaree will return on February 5th and 6th. This year's celebration will take place on Black Lake's northeast side off County Road 489. The Shivaree is an annual 2 day ice festival which began in the 1960's to celebrate Northern Michigan's outdoor heritage and the majestic lake sturgeon. This fun filled weekend is a sure bet for all outdoor enthusiasts, young and old alike.
