2017 Sturgeon For Tomorrow Banquet

19th Annual Fundraising Banquet

The 19th Annual Sturgeon For Tomorrow fundraising banquet was a rousing success. I hope you took a moment to look at the beautiful sturgeon that was out in front of the banquet hall.  Moran Iron Works really out did themselves this year and we thank them for loaning the sculpture to us. If you missed the banquet, plan now to attend our banquet next year on September 15, 2018.

Doug Larson, Research Technologist from Michigan State University presented research and findings from the 2017 field season and the future for our Lake Sturgeon is looking bright.

As Master of Ceremonies, Bob Garner kept the action moving in his usual fun way.  We can’t thank him enough for his many years of support.

Many wonderful prizes were claimed by the banquet attendees including a paddleboard, a kayak, a tent and many one-of-a-kind objects from our Artisan Gallery.
